About ControlTrace

ControlTrace helps cybersecurity and compliance teams trace requirements through implementation claims, policies, procedures, and evidence. The goal is to surface weak relationships and contradictions before they become assessment-day surprises.

The initial product is focused on CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171 readiness for small and midsize U.S. defense contractors. It is analyst-assistance software—not an assessor, certification authority, or generic checklist.

The current prototype uses synthetic data only and is not approved for CUI or other sensitive security information. Every finding is designed for human validation, with source context, reasoning, confidence, and recommended review.
